Colin: Family pet.
Thom: The puppy dog that the youngest child have for its birthday that still shits on the carpet.

Jonny: Hmm... yes, that's what I would've thought. So you reckon in earnest the album proper started recording in October 2006 or so... something like that. After you'd road-tested some of the songs on the tour.
Thom: It was annoying that we couldn't get it together until sort of Nigel came and gave us a walloping kick up the ass.
